Latest reports by comScore reveal Bing as the second largest search engine in US. With 15.1 % share in the search markets Bing has edged out Yahoo to become the number 2 search engine. December 2011 stats show Yahoo dropping to number 3 with 14.5% search market share while Bing rose to number 2 with 15.1% .
Google continues to top the list with 65.9% search market share, up from 65.4% in November 2011. Total 12 billion explicit searches conducted on Google sites, up 3% from November 2011, followed by 2.7 billion (up 2 %) for Bing and 2.6 billion explicit core searches for Yahoo sites in December 2011.

Ask networks and AOL shares the 4th and 5th position respectively. Ask network accounted for 2.9% of total searches in December 2011 while AOL 1.6 %. More than 18.2 billion explicit core searches were conducted in December 2011 up 2% from November 2011.
